The KC Turf Zone, located in Lenexa, is the primary home of the UISL and one of the winter training locations for KC Fusion club teams.
Located at 1500 N 90th Street, the Fusion Training Center at Compass Minerals Sporting Fields is a world-class, 52-acre facility featuring 12 full-size soccer fields — eight with cutting-edge synthetic turf and four with natural grass — as well as an advanced, computer-controlled lighting system. Less than three miles from Children’s Mercy Park and the Village West Entertainment District, and only a mile from the state-of-the-art U.S. Soccer National Development Center, this unique arrangement makes Kansas City, Kansas an unquestioned leader in the development of soccer in the United States. Little Mill Creek North Park is 25.5 acres and is primarily used for sports games and practices. It also features a .8-mile walking/jogging trail, a picnic area and a destination playground with equipment for younger and older children. Little Mill Creek North Park also has 12 multi-use fields (soccer/flag football/lacrosse) used for practices and games.
Freedom Fields is used primarily for sporting events, featuring four baseball/softball fields and seven multi-use sports fields. It has baseball/softball fields and multi-use (soccer/flag football/lacrosse) fields for practices or games.
Swarner Park features 8.7 acres of parkland with Shawnee's only skate park. The park also includes a baseball field, stocked fishing pod, playground and a 0.6 mile walking trail.
