Located at 1500 N 90th Street, the Fusion Training Center at Compass Minerals Sporting Fields is a world-class, 52-acre facility featuring 12 full-size soccer fields — eight with cutting-edge synthetic turf and four with natural grass — as well as an advanced, computer-controlled lighting system. Less than three miles from Children’s Mercy Park and the Village West Entertainment District, and only a mile from the state-of-the-art U.S. Soccer National Development Center, this unique arrangement makes Kansas City, Kansas an unquestioned leader in the development of soccer in the United States. Gum Springs Park Features 9.7 acres of parkland including a playground with sings, four soccer fields (game use only), four baseball/softball fields ranging from 205'-385', a .6 mile long walking trail and two medium sized shelters. Gum Springs is popular for birthday parties, baby showers and practices. You can regularly find families enjoying the walking trail with their favorite furry friend.
The U.S. Soccer National Development center is part of the Compass Mineral's complex and is home to coaching / referee education for the federation. In addition, it's two lit, state of the art turf fields can be used for match play during league / tournament events.
Heritage Park consists of a wide range of features and amenities for all to enjoy. The 1,238-acre park includes 10 picnic shelters, 40-acre lake, 30-acre dog off-leash area, play areas, outdoor exercise equipment, 18-hole disc golf course, softball, football, and soccer fields, and the 18-hole championship Heritage Park Golf Course and driving range.
Swope Soccer Village features six full-sized synthetic soccer fields and a three natural grass fields including a Championship Field with seating for 1500. Additional amenities include restrooms, concessions and storage facilities. The Village is adjacent to the Sporting KC II Training Facility in Swope Park.
The GARMIN Olathe Soccer Complex boasts nine tournament-quality synthetic turf fields complete with lighting for night play. The complex includes free parking and a multi-purpose building with concession areas. This facility is home to Heartland Soccer Association, and is conveniently located in Olathe, Kansas with several hotels, restaurants and local attractions nearby.
